Playback for footage at 60fps lagging in Premiere Pro

Hello,

Today I seem to be having trouble playing footage that was taken at 60 fps (it plays in a "slow-motion", and lags behind the audio) within Premiere Pro.

-I first tried rendering the clip, then cutting the resolution down to 25%, with no effect.

-Then I tried bringing another clip, shot a 30 frames per second, and it played perfectly.

-After that, I looked under the sequence settings and started playing with the settings for editing mode, timebase, and display format. I believe that I will be able to solve the problem by finding the correct sequence settings for this clip, however I have not stumbled upon the right settings yet.

This is a new problem for me since upgrading to Adobe CC 2018.

Below I have pasted in the properties (as shown in Premiere) of the clip that is giving me trouble.

Type: MPEG Movie

File Size: 2.93 GB

Image Size: 1920 x 1080

Frame Rate: 14.99

Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 16 bit - Stereo

Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo

Total Duration: 00;18;51;12

Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0

You can see that Premiere thinks the frame rate is 15 fps.

On my e-drive the properties for the same clip are:

Type: QuickTime Movie

Size: 2.92 GB

Image size:

-Frame Width 1920

-Frame Height 1080

-Frame rate 59 f/s

Bit rate 1536 kbps

Audio sample rate 48 kHz

What camera or device produced that media?

The camera I used was a Nikon D7200

My first question would be how to do you want this footage to play back? In slow motion or normal speed?

In your bin you need to interpret the clip into the speed you want it to play back at as Premiere is not reading the frame rate correctly.
