Portions of audio muted on timeline - Peak amplitude issue

I posted a few days ago and recevied a respose on portions of my timeline being muted.  I followed the steps provided, but was having the same issue.  I checked my audio gain tab and noticed my peak amplitude was calculated at -854.9!!  I know this can't be normal because the portions that are playing normally are set to -2 or -3.. .please help!

my experience has been that if using 'in camera audio', instead of slated shots with external recording of sound to sync, is to take the audio into audition, convert it to wav or broadcast wav, then replace the audio under the clips with in camera audio. In other words, you replace the audio.

I actually tried that as well... I have just disabled some plug-ins that I don't need. One was a peak amplitude plug in.. hoping this solves it.. thank you so so much!

This was happening before the recent update.. I am currently on 14.2.0 (build 47)
