Hello,
First of all, dynamic link have been working very good for me, beside some bugs I'll be willing to fill report after, but right now, I'm having an issue that I need to fix asap, so I hope someone could help me or just confirm it's an adobe problem.
I am finishing a TV series and using DL to interchange content between PP, PS and AE.
So my issue is, in the final credits, I'm importing the text made from PS into AE and getting that composition into PP, so I can easily change things without having to get into every episode to redo the work. As every episode also have specific credits, I have to import some things from PS directly into PP. The thing is, my composition from AE comes first in the timeline, and then, when the specific credits from PS comes, there is a change in the font thickness. The font with 28pt from AE seems bold compared to a 30pt that comes right after from PS directly.
As the PS project is the same in those cases, I entered it to see if there is a difference there, but there isn't. The fonts are the same, same aspects, just the difference between sizes, but the thickness looks almost identical and not so different as it looks on PP. Somehow AE is changing the way my design in PS was defined and that's a huge thing. How a product that's supposed to make a perfect pipeline from one software to another change things on the way without any user interaction? So simplifying the (almost) identical font imported into PP from PS is different when it goes from PS to AE to PP. That's a little absurd and just raises my questioning about how trustful dynamic link is.
Actually, I only saw the error because I could compare with those credits imported directly. It would be on my final master without me noticing it at first glance and it would be ugly for me and my company if it aired like that.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
As a quick fix can you take the PS content that you are adding directly and run it thru AE so it all looks the same?

I would suggest the reverse of Brian. Skip AE and bring both PS titles into PP directly.

i was assuming he needed to make some adjustments that required AE - if not I agree.

If so, then I would agree with your idea.

Thanks! I'm doing the other way around, the producer actually wanted them to look like the after effects version. Losing a lot of time on a tight schedule, really disappointed by this.
Trying to do tests and think before filling a bug report.
Also, where can input suggestions? If I could import a batch in AE, like I do in PP, that would've been great.
