ppropanel launched error message in Premiere 14.0.4

The sample panel ppropanel provided in Premier 14.0.4 was executed.
I got a script error message
Excpetion: TypeError: Cannot convert

I wonder if it is related to "new world".

I can run PProPanel in Pro 14.0.4 with no errors, with or without New World enabled. Is your copy of PProPanel current? Is it perhaps modified in some way?

Your suspicion is founded; New World is more strict, and does not perform implicit conversion to String, as needed.

Can you determine what actual script call / statement, is provoking the error?

Downloaded from and reinstalled today and I see the same symptoms.

After installation If you run the panel in Premiere 14.0.4, the following screen will appear.

Error Alert Message

And when you click on the window, it is as follows.

The installed Premier is version information.

OS is Windows 10. What went wrong?

I'm not sure what's happening on your system.

I just did a fresh install of PProPanel from the git repo, launched PPro 14.0.4, and the panel works fine. Turned off New World, restarted; panel still works, save those portions dependent on New World.

Do you perhaps have multiple instances of PProPanel installed? Did you clear out the previous /PProPanel directory, before updating to the most recent version of PProPanel, from git?
