Hello There ,
Regarding Premier pro Crash -
From sometime when I edit on timeline I'm facing error sometimes like - "Unable to create Image Buffer " and sometimes" Frame substitution error " and the clips goes black thereafter.
Previously it was working fine ..
I've tried several things to solve the issue like
- Upgrading Ram to 24 GB/ Changing Ram (8+8)
- Tried different projects/ Different Project Files
- Tried Various versions installing from 19 to 24
- Tried Installing windows multiple times, shifting to win 10
- Tried Upgrading all drivers
- Tried Working on Internal HDD / External Samsung T7 SSD
- Tried clearing Media cache
- Tried Allowing custom VRam space upto 150+ GBs
And a lot of things which I found ...
One major thing I've noticed that , Whenever I load the data , it creates a lot of VRam memory over 100+ GBs , And maybe stuck when that memory freezes or doesn't increase more .
Please let me know

(*First off all little mistake - 2 nd System I've tested on is i7 11 Gen )
1- As Ive done Fresh Installation of windows multiple times All drivers I've installing Freshly .
2- Preference resets checked
3- No Mogrts are installed.
4- System does meet minimum requirements, What else I needed to edit 1080 p videos
5-System resources monitored which I've discussed about ( Kindly update about that why it's taking that much Vram)
OS updates Tried
Software Upgrade/Degrade tried
- Tested on Another Device with higher Specs
Kindly help out with this

Hello,
To assist you better in resolving these problems, could you please share some additional information about your sequence settings and the metadata of your raw footage?
Sequence Settings:
Could you provide details about the settings of the sequence you're working with (resolution, frame rate, codec, etc.)?
Are you using any specific effects or plugins within your sequences that might be contributing to the errors?
Raw Footage Metadata:
What are the specifications of the raw footage you are importing into Adobe Premiere Pro?
Could you share details about the format, resolution, frame rate, and codec of the footage?
Are there any unusual characteristics or properties of the footage files that could be relevant to the issues you're encountering?

Yes For Sure I'm attaching all the pictures, for the current project.
In this project I've only created a timeline of 50 seconds in which I've faced these issues.
Pictures of Multiple camera Footages are attached.
And Not using any Effects plugins or anything . Just some Media Clips on the Timeline.

Thank you for providing the details about your sequence settings and raw footage metadata. Based on this information, I have a couple more questions that could help us narrow down the issues you're experiencing with Adobe Premiere Pro:
Proxy Workflow:
Have you tried using a proxy workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro? Creating proxies can significantly reduce the strain on your system resources, especially when working with high-resolution or complex footage.
If you haven't tried this yet, I recommend experimenting with proxy settings to see if it helps improve the stability and performance of your editing workflow.
Transcoding to Different Formats:
Have you attempted transcoding your "Long GOP" H.264 footage to other formats like "Intraframe" ProRes 422 or DNxHD/HR?
Transcoding to a less compressed codec can sometimes improve playback performance and reduce compatibility issues within Adobe Premiere Pro.
Also try the seq settings in the attached pic:

Hey there , I've asking for a solution to the problem regarding memory consumption, For what purpose and what reason is it taking so much memory, and when memory fills out completely it crashes...
Please This is the problem, I've tried other software but they don't consume memory more than 20 Gb in committed Area (VRAM) .
Why would I need to do proxy workflow for 1080 p footages in High end Systems like i7 9 gen or 11 gen
And Whats the matter with the Footage conversation, even if that work , I won't be converting a hell lot of Footages over 100's of GB 's...
Kindly look out for that issue.
Hopefully waiting for a solution
It's been month's frustrating over these errors

Hello,
Adobe Premiere Pro utilizes VRAM (Video RAM) primarily for GPU-accelerated tasks related to video processing and rendering. VRAM is dedicated memory on your graphics card that stores and manages data for displaying graphics and processing video effects within Premiere Pro. Here's how Premiere Pro uses VRAM:
Real-time Video Playback: Premiere Pro uses VRAM to store and process frames of video, enabling smooth playback and editing of high-resolution footage without stuttering.
GPU Acceleration: Many effects and tasks in Premiere Pro are accelerated by the GPU, which relies on VRAM for storing intermediate data during processing. This includes color correction, transitions, scaling, and rendering complex effects.
High-resolution Rendering: When exporting projects or rendering previews, Premiere Pro utilizes VRAM to hold processed frames before final video output, enhancing rendering efficiency and performance.
Playback Performance: The amount of VRAM impacts overall performance and stability, especially with multiple layers, effects, or high-resolution timelines.
In cases of performance issues or errors, Premiere Pro may offload more tasks to the GPU to compensate. Anyway:
However, resolving performance issues in Premiere Pro can be complex, and there's no one size fits all solution. Issues may arise due to update bugs, incorrect codecs, sequence settings, GPU drivers, or hardware failures.
Experimenting with settings and ensuring system compatibility are key steps in troubleshooting that's what I tried to do with you earlier.
Finding a definitive answer may require thorough investigation and potentially consulting Adobe support.
