Premiere Crashes when I try to use "Save as"_12

Weird way to respond to people, of course I know that when I want to save as I want it to be under a different name, how else could it be?  When I do save as, the dialog window pop and the application freeze with the infinite looping cursor. I have to kill it with the task manager.

OK, as some people actually do not know that they need to actually save the file before using Save As. FCP X switchers, for example.

If you are still having issues, please try renaming your Adobe folder in your Documents folder. That would reset folder permissions to some that might be corrupt right now.
