Premiere Issues - constant crash on versions 2021 and 2022

My system specs:

Ryzen 7
3700x
32GB DDR4
GTX1660 Super

--Had to revert back to Premiere 2021 as 2022 would crash every few minutes.

--2021 at least goes anywhere from 10-30 minutes without crashing.  Sometimes even a few hours. But it will eventually crash.  And it will crash when I'm away from it not doing any editing at all.

--Sometimes it just simply disappears from the screen: no crash report, nothing. It just vanishes in the blink of an eye.

--When using Dynamic Link, it won't let me IMPORT and AE comp, only start a NEW one. This is a minor bug but still annoying.

--FWIW After Effects works fine - never crashes, zero issues.

So I guess my best option is to drop down to a lower Premiere, but not sure if I can acess the correct Media Encoder.

Adobe Pros: I feel totally stuck here.  I understand there may be millions of us and just 5-10 of you, I don't know.  But I've been a loyal Adobe consumer going on 20 years back when you had to order VHS tapes just to learn how to use it.  My livelyhood depends on this product but yet I don't know of any place to go for someone to look at my system and tell me if it's me or if it's you.  I'd be willing to pay a fair price for someone to screen share and spend an hour with me.  I can't trust your new updated versions because they seem to be getting progressively worse.  And I'm too damn old to learn another product.

From what I can tell you have a lot of us who seem to be having similar issues yet you cannot solve them.

Something has to change.

are you working with material shot on a smartphone or from a screen recording?  If so, the issue may be variable frame rates which can cause intermittent, unpredictable problems.  Here's how to confirm the diagnosis and fix the problem

use mediainfo to determine whether your source is variable or constant frame rate
https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
if it's variable use handbrake to convert to constant frame rate setting the quality slider in the video panel to maximum
https://handbrake.fr
and here's a tutorial on how to use handbrake

Nope, no phone or screen capture footage. All professionally shot, most on Sony A7s.

are you sure you have the latest STUDIO driver for your graphics card?  If so, you might try reverting that to an earlier version.    And what format are you recording?  H265?  not an easy format to work with.  try transcoding to an all iframe format like prores422hq.  I'm just flying blind here, but worth a shot...
