Premiere keeps Creating a "OneDrive" folder and saving stuff inside of it

Just to be clear:

  • I use Windows 11;
  • completely uninstalled OneDrive from my PC;
  • I don't have any files or settings SET to save stuff on the folder i'm about to mention (that icludes Project Settings, Media Cache, Injest Settings and all that);
  • Ever since i deleted OneDrive i have already set and moved all my PC libraries to new folders that are located on another place not even near that folder;

Having said that here's my problem:

I use premiere pro on a daily basis and i've noticed that all my settings (Layouts, Settings, Keyboard Shortcuts, etc) are being saved on the OneDrive folder (C:\Users\[myuser]\OneDrive\Documents).

Does anyone knows a way to move these files back to the correct documents folder?

Is there a setting i should pay attention whenever installing the creative cloud apps for this to not happen?

Thank you for the help in advance!

Oh my Heavens, OneDrive can be a royal pain. My "new" computer had OneDrive auto setup itself, on installation of Windows, and ... it wanted to control everything, and for some reason wanted to "protect" files like you wouldn't believe. So for instance, Premiere could write preferences, but couldn't access them the next time it booted!

It took me three long painful days to finally banish that OneDrive so I could get my CC apps functional again. And that included ... the  dreaded nuclear option ... the CC Cleaner Tool. Removing all traces of Adobe from the system, and with a system running with no OneDrive operative, and NO OneDrive folders anywhere ... I finally was able to reinstall the CC Desktop app, then install the programs, and ... get back to work.

In the middle of this currently on a new computer setup.   Had removed One Drive right away but it came back with a folder and Adobe stuff.   Had installed Creative Cloud, Lightroom, Photoshop.   And noticed One Drive back and folder with Adobe content.  When you say CCleaner Tool do you mean doing the uninstall of all of the Adobe software from CCleaner and then using Drive Wipe tool of freespace or what?   I just want to make sure that I understand the exact steps you recommend.   Thanks Neil.
