Premiere Pro 2023 + Ventura giving me crazy high CPU usage, even when idling

Yep!  Same issue here.  Tried upgrading to Ventura but the issue persists.  I have not tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Pro.   

If you wait long enough, things become quicker, but then slow down again.  Exporting a 10-minute video was told it would take 2 hours and 5 mins.  After about 5 minutes that counter dropped very quickly and was done in about 8 minutes total (about 6 minutes longer than it should have been).  During a prior run, I was also told that Premiere Pro was using too much memory and I should Force Quit.  It was using 128+ GB on a 64GB M1 Max Macbook Pro according to Activity Monitor.

I feel there's at least a memory leak somewhere but I haven't found an additional solution except waiting for it to respond which doesn't help if you're on a timeline.

Quick update: tried to completely uninstall and install all of Creative Cloud again. Problem persists.
