I can't do my work because Premiere pro 2025 constantly crashes on me when trying to scrub through a multi-camera sequence on my timeline. It seems to trigger mostly when I play then try to fast foward.

I work with media from a pocket 4K and an Ursa MiniPro 4.6K G2. I never have any issues.

Or at least, after leaving the problematic BM freebie plugin for the Autokroma one. Autokroma has a freebie also, which I would suggest you try ... but the paid version isn't much and if you do this for pay, all the things like presets and such are awesome.

Also ... the Autokroma site has the best support for the BlackMagic freebie plugin, better than BM's. So check their site for troubles with the BM plugins.

So I did an experiment and it seems installing Autokroma fixed it. It hasn't crashed once since. But what I did differently this time was I completely uninstalled Blackmagic RAW before installing Autokroma. I guess it was causing a conflict or something.

Yea, the two cannot be simultaneously installed. Or they fight over who is used, essentially. Glad to hear you're working of course. That's the whole point here. 😊

Since yesterday, I haven't had a single crash and I'm working with four streams simultaneously. Thank you for checking in.

Hi @Matthew38616698cmux - Are you using the Studio driver for your gpu?  What version of Premiere Pro are you using?  Do you see a crash dialog box?  Have you tried blackmagic raw plugin version 4.4 or any previous versions?

Current GPU driver is version 572.83

Blackmagic RAW driver is 4.5

The cameras used were a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6k and a 4k.
