Premiere Pro 2025 - Performance issues / lag

Hey guys,

Has anyone noticed a large preformnce dip in Premire Pro 2025? Ever since switching I've noticed a significant drop in preformance opposed to 2024. A couple of my collegues that I work with at a media company have also noticed this. Im considering changing back to 2024 for the time being until this is ironed out. Is this a known issue for the new update? I have seen a couple forum posts across different sites of people noticing the same thing. 

Me and my collegues all running speced out M2 Max MacBook Pros

Specs:

Chip: Apple M2 Max

Memory: 96 GB
OS: Sequoia 15.0 (24A335)

Would love to know if there's a fix!

    I'm having this issue too, when I move things in my timeline, when I try to move a property. It's very laggy. Also have a Macbook Pro M2 Max 32 GB. Is there a fix?
