Pr 25.2, Win 11 24h2, Nvidia studio driver 566.36, RTX 4080, 64 Gb of ram, any footage.
When I try to use the new Generative extend tool, it first starts analyzing the clip, then gives a "can't complete" message on the audio track, then ends up with a "can't generate extension" error screen.
Steps to reproduce:
- start Pr
- create an empty project
- import any video
- place it on the timeline
- cut the clip
- use the GE tool
- wait
When I tested the tool in the Beta a month or two ago it actually worked without any problems.

Hi @AndrewTheGreat -
Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
It looks like the error happens during upload. Do you have any firewall settings on?

Hi, @jamieclarke I do have an antivirus with a firewall, but all Adobe products were added to exceptions long ago, besides, as I pointed out, the Beta had no issue, and I hadn't added it to exceptions at all, so the antivirus does not block it. But if so, please advise how to fix it.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried multiple clips. United States user, plenty of bandwidth. Just updated to 25.2. MacOS 13.6 on a Studio M1 Ultra with 64 gigs of ram. Clip is a stand-alone 10080p H.264 which was exported from premirere from a 4k file. In every case I've tried it gets to 34% progress and then says it can't generate extension.

I did a reboot of my system and it seems to be working now. Sorry - should have tried that first. I did initially get the "can only do 1080 or 720 footage" and restarting PP (as posted on the overview page) fixed that. But I hadn't done a reboot.

OK. This new feature then is useless for me, like the whole v. 25.2 (I don't use the AI search). But why did it work in Beta? I tested it and filed a bugreport.
By the way it's funny that someone tries to help and make your product better and when the stable version is out it's forbidden to be used by that person who helped... Strange politics... But ok
