Premiere Pro - Auto Transcription Does Not Work - Creating Auto Transcription Stuck Loading Forever

Just as title says, the transcription bar will never finish. With 22.5 its not stuck on downloading language pack. On 22.2-22.4 It gets stuck on creating auto transcription; it never finishes. Would could be the issue? I can't get it to work with any clip on any 22.2-22.5

This problem appeared last week and I've tried uninstalling/re-installing, tried the Beta version, etc.

Just now I went to right-click/modify/audio channels and changed the multiple tracks to track 1 only, which is where the interview audio was recorded. Did the trick, don't really know why.

This did the trick ! Thank you. And a great confirmation of the most expensive "Pro" editing app being fixed by it's community - and not by the cheapest customer service option available to a San Francisco company. Cause we're worth it right...

I have the same issue. It says "Beginning language pack download" and then simply gets stuck at the same progress bar location for ever.

im having this same issue for macos apple silicon m1 chipset mac mini. Its horrible. Capcut did the trick in less than a second. All i wanted to do was a clip of 15 seconds. And i spent more time FINDING A SOLUTION TO THIS THAN WHAT IT SHOULD TAKE TO CREATE THE CAPTIONS. ITS A LIVING NIGHTMARE. AND WE PAY MONTHLY THATS THE SAD STORY.

lol I have to say, your comment sums up the current state of adobe products
well. I commented on this thread over a year ago now, no solution or reply
from any of the staff here.

I’ll recommend da Vinci or capcut to new editors 10/10 times & we just look
like idiots for being the ones paying for this when we can’t even recommend
it.

Oh and you know what’s the best? Adobe sent out an email saying they are
RAISING the prices. Lmao ya can’t make this **** up.

@adobe your staff is failing you, your creators aren’t happy, we
consistently have to find paid 3rd party plug ins that other editing
programs have built in natively.

PremiereGal a YouTube channel you guys have worked with in the past, just
made a video on exactly this topic.
