Premiere Pro - Crashing (Cursor getting big)

Hi! Classic problem with Premiere Pro crashing. I´m a pretty skilled editor and have tried my normal workaround-round, which normally always works at some point... Now it doesn´t. I´m in trouble. Just sended a client home from a session, after trying several hours fixing this with him waiting besides me.

I don´t get any messages regarding the crash. No log neither. It just crashes. The thing to note - which might help - is that the cursor gets bigger everytime it crashes (Which is every minute). These are the fixes I have tried:

  1.  Enabling software rendering instead of GPU
  2.  Deleting Media Cache - both in Premiere Pro and on the disk
  3.  Starting the app with ALT and resetting preferences
  4.  Starting the app with SHIFT and resetting plugin chache
  5.  Changing Sequence Settings to ProRes-rendering
  6.  Upgrading Premiere Pro
  7.  Downgrading Premiere Pro
  8.  Updating GPU, CPU & Windows
  9.  Restarting
  10.  Importing the project to a new project
  11.  Opening an earlier auto save of the project which worked fine - but now crashes
  12.  Reseting my workspace
  13.  Only editing with my proxy files
  14.  Relink all my media

I have tried every solution I could think of. None of it works. I have to get i fixed to reach my deadline, so I hope someone here might be able to help. It seems only to occur in the one project I´m working on here - other projects work. Here is my system data:

Windows 10

Premiere Pro v 15.4.1

CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X 24-Core Processor 3.79 GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090

RAM: 128 GB

Hope someone here has a fix! It will be appreciated big time x10! 🙂

Best regards

It seems like this would be a graphics driver or card issue.

I assume you are using the Studio driver, not the Game Driver, correct?

Have you tried older Studio drivers?

Something in your project seems to be corrup. I suggest to re-check your files and/or any plugins or effects you have applied. Try opening earlier versions from the auto save
