premiere pro keyboard shortcut crtl+L (loop) not working

the shortcut is not working on two different machines (premier pro cc 2018 for pc) - and if that one does not work.. how many other do not? i had a support session for 1 hour who instructed me to reinstall the program.. only that the same flaw exist on both of my editing computers, on is a laptop the other a editing station. - so reinstall isn unlikely to solve the problem

any one else has this problem?

What are you trying to loop?

If in and out points, then make sure the Program Monitor is selected before typing the keyboard command.

Does it appear as a programed keystroke in your Keyboard Shortcuts Panel?

The Loop command Ctrl-L is a toggle. You can place the LOOP toggle-button on the program monitor controls using the + button to add it. Then with the button selected (it will be blue when on, just like the proxy button). Then when you <spacebar> to play, and you have in and out points set on the timeline, it will play that selection in a loop.

Go:

Edit> Keyboard shortcuts, in the search box type "loop", in the element, double click on Ctrl + L, you have to color, rewrite Ctrl + L, deselect and enter "Intro", ready.

Thank you, but its not the button that does not work but the crtl +L shortcut that does not. The toggle works. The mouse comand (wrench / loop ) works but the shortcut does not .

reinstalling the program worked. - strange but it did. thak you for the input.
