I use Premiere Pro Enterprise. When working with PP 24.0 keyboard shortcuts worked fine. But when I upgraded to PP 25.0 I lost all keyboard shortcut functionality. When accessing the keyboard shortcuts panel, the Default was blank.
How can I restore the default some the keyboard shortcuts are functional without having to rebuild shortcuts one-by-one?
Try closing Premiere, then when launching, hold the shift key down. Select dump cache files.
If that works, fine. If not, you may need to uninstall/reinstail 25.x, or you have a folder permissions issue in the OS.

Thank you, Mr. Haugen! Dumping the cache files worked very well.
Thanks again,

Hello Mr. Haugen,
Hope you help me out again this go around like you did a couple of weeks ago.
For some reason, I lost the functionality of my Premiere Pro 25.x keyboard shortcuts. I launched PP, tried to do a shortcut and and didn't work. I went to Preferences/Keyboard Shortcuts and it was blank.
I went and dumped the cache files as you directed me to do it last go round, but that did not work this time. I then went ahead and uninstalled/re-installed PP, but that did not help either. I once again tried dumping the cache, but again, no luck in getting the shortcuts back.
Any advice you can provide me on what I should do next will be sincerely appreciated.

I am on Windows and the keyboard shortcuts file for Pr 24 is located here: C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\24.0\Profile-UserName\Win
When uninstalling Pr 24 that folder and it´s content, iow the .kys-file/s, should still be there. So, you can move the file with a file browser from C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\24.0\Profile-UserName\Win to the new folder for Pr 25 that is C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\25.0\Profile-UserName\Win
When done, launch Pr 25 and press Ctrl+Alt+K and select your shortcuts from the Preset drop down menu in the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog.
The file path on Mac is very similar.

Averdahl,
I lost my keyboard shortcuts again. Not sure why. I do have the old profile from my 24 version stored on another hard drive. I located the PP 25 profile and replaced it with the PP 24 profile. When I did it nothing happened. But you said to use the Ctr+Alt+K keys to bring up the Preset drop down menu. But I'm on a Mac, so what would the keys be instead?

My short cuts cam back. Unfortunately, I wish I could tell you how it happened, but I can't. I just came in one morning, launched Premiere and noticed the short cuts worked.
