Hi guys, I'm having a big issue importing my iPhone video footage to Premiere Pro. I believe I've tried just about everything recommended in this forums, on youtube, and reddit and it still is giving me issues.
My issue: I'm trying to import footage from my iPhone to Premiere. My Premiere is updated to 23.4.0 Build 56. Using MacOS Ventura. The footage has these codecs "MPEG-4 AAC, Timed Metadata, HEVC". The issue is srange because if I quit PP entirely, and open - I can drag a HEVC footage directly into the sequence and it will work fine. However, anything after that - including that same footage, It will only import the audio into the sequence, not the video.
I've used Adobe's Media Encoder to convert these files to H.264 codec, changed file ext to mp4, converted to Pro Res. All still have the same issue with just the audio being imported.
Any help?

Well I feel dumb, I kept searching more after posting this and turns out it wasn't a file type or codec issue at all. I had the source patching disabled on the sequence which wasn't allowing me to import more clips.

Thanks for closing out the bug report. Source patching is the source of a lot of frustration for new and experienced users alike. Noted.
Cheers,
