Premiere Pro Project stuck on "Open Project"

I left a project exporting last night, and came in this morning and the project had crashed.  When I try to reopen any of the multiple projects in this folder - they all "get stuck" on the "Open Project" screen.  If I make a new project in this folder, it opens, works, and has no issues.   The error seems to be associated with just this project.  When I hit cancel or close the loading window, the program goes white screen and crashes.  I get no error codes.

This is a multi project project.  I have been working on it for over a year without issues.  I had opened multiple projects to move items around before I left it to export.  But as best I could tell everything was working when I left it ot export.

Here's what I have tried to fix it, none of these have worked:
-Cleared the media cache.
-opening it project manager.
-importing the project into a newly created project.
-importing it in as a sequence
-tried using project manager to import
-went through old versions of the project in auto save folder trying to open them to get a new starting point.
-tried importing old versions of the project in auto save folder trying to open them to get a new starting point.
-tried opening the project on another computer from the same server.
-Copied the project file to my desktop and tried to open it from there.

What can I do to get the projects to open.  I suspect that once one opens, the others in the folder will follow suit.

-adjusted the ram settings
-adjusted the GPU settings

If your Premiere Pro project is stuck on the "Opening Project" screen, try this method to help resolve the issue:

  1. Move the Project: Copy the project file (.prproj) to a different computer that does not have access to the original media or cache files.
  2. Open the Project: Launch Premiere Pro on that machine and open the copied project. It should load with the media offline.
  3. Save the Project: Once it opens, save the project. This creates a refreshed version that may bypass whatever was causing the loading issue.
  4. Return to Original Setup: Move the saved project back to your original computer.
  5. Relink the Media: Open the project and let Premiere Pro reconnect to the media files when prompted.

This approach can help isolate and resolve problems related to media or cache file conflicts that may be preventing the project from loading properly.

Thanks Paul! I got one project to open, saved it, brought it back to the original computer - opened it - and still sitting on the main loading screen.
Took the project back to the other computer - now it won't open there - and other sequences won't open either.

Hello,

I often got this problem and always fixed the problem following those steps.

Did you try to open Premiere Pro while maintaining the Shift key of your keyboard, then select "Reset Plugin Loading Cache" ? You can also try "Clear Media Cache Files" and "Reset App Preferences" if it does not work.
You shouls see the window on the screenshot below.

If it does not work, I would try to do the following thing on your project, but as you can't open it, you will need to have files offlines I suppose. : https://www.autokroma.com/PlumePack/User_Guide/What_should_I_do_to_in_order_to_fix_my_Project_after_getting_a_message_indicating_that_a_bug_prevent_PlumePack_to_make_some_necessary_changes_on_the_new_project

Here is what it looks lie when I try to import - it zips along and then gets stuck at 70%
