I'm posting a new topic for this issue as the other 5-page thread isn't getting any replies from Adobe Support no more and this serious issue is impacting my work enourmously.
My Adobe premiere auto-updated to the latest 2021 version 15.2 and the hell started again :
As soon as I open Premiere my RAM starts to gain more and more every minute one GB Ram is added, without even having any footage in my timeline. After a while my computer freezes completely with the RAM filled up over my maximum amount (for example the activity monitor says that Premiere is using 170GB of Ram but I only have 72 GB of Ram installed).
It's very important to say this doesn't happen on version 14.5 . But on every version starting from 15.
I tried everything, clearing caches, changing preference to memory instead of performance, disabling hardware acceleration, ..
My specs are a 2020 10-core iMac with 72 GB of ram and RX 5700 XT .
It seems to happen in the latest Adobe Media Encoder and After Effects as well.
I hope anyone can help me out.
