After working a couple weeks with the BlackMagic BRAW plugin, I've gone back to the Autokroma plugin. For now at least. Both work pretty good.

I have been using Autokroma's BRAW plugin for a couple months, and it worked ok. Saw this, uninstalled the Autokroma plugin and installed the BM official one.

Very similar, a couple options that didn't actually work in the Autokroma one do in the official BlackMagic one.

The only pain is I've needed to recreate the projects as after uninstalling the Autokroma and installing the BM plugin, even rebooting  ... the program will not display the media and gives a warning message.

Importing into a new project file works to get past that.

And free is a very good price.

Game changer.

Up to 12:1 visually lossless compression at 32-bpc. Playback rates over 300fps at 4.6k on an iMac Pro without any fancy eGPU boxen.

Unlike Adobe's dismal support for cinemaDNG, let's hope with a totally license-free open codec and cross-platform SDK this gets into Creative Cloud quickly.

When you install a plugin ... you need to close Premiere and then relaunch it. That is often something that trips users up, that need to restart. Perhaps that is the problem?

I had a closed program. Does the fact that I currently have a trial version matter?
should the Creative Cloud Desktop also be closed during installation?

I installed the plugin several times, also trying to repair at the instalation program.
