Premiere Pro support for Blackmagic RAW is now available!

Premiere Pro support for Blackmagic RAW is now available via the Blackmagic RAW 1.5 software update. The new plugin can be found at http://blackmagicdesign.com/support .

As of Feb. 16, 2022, Autokroma BRAW Studio is now free. Info to download: https://www.autokroma.com/blog/BRAW-Studio-Is-Now-FREE

In the download of the above mentioned file there is no installer app.  The BRAW Studio Panel does not show up under extensions either.

I'm using the new Apple M1 Pro Max chip and now Premiere Pro is not supporting my black magic BRAW files! Is anyone else having this problem?

Have you installed the BlackMagic freebie BRAW plugin, or the (far better) paid BRAW Studio from Autokroma? Premiere doesn't have 'native' support. You need to use either the BM or the Autokroma plugins.

The BM one is available from their support page, and the Autokroma one both from their page and from aescrpts.com.

I have the same problems, I can load/import my files on my i7 macbook. But my new Macbook M1 Max I cant import Braw into PP, I can only play them in Braw Player.

Versions:

Raw Player - 2.3

Premiere - 22.3

OSX - 12.3

Well I just solved my own problem myself, So if anybody out there stumbles over the same problem as I had.

I think the problem is that I downloaded Raw player through Appstore and I could not Import Braw into PP.

Until i installed Raw Player from BM own website. Bigger file and it just worked.
