Premiere Pro to YouTube Export Not Working

Hi guys ❤️

I make youtube videos that are typically 30-45 minutes long.

The export time is killing me and the uploads directly to youtube don't work at all. They don't even show up in my youtube account period.

Does anyone have experience getting this to work? It is making me crazy and causing 8+ extra hours to get a video uploaded, slowing down approvals for paid videos.

Pleassse advise.

Hi Emily,

I would avoid uploading direclty from the app and upload to youtube from your browser as others have stated. If you are having more direct problems with the export, such as failing to encode etc, that may be a separate issue. That can usually be resolved by exporting to a mezzanine codec such as ProRes422HQ or DNxHD and then converting that file to H.264/5 within media encoder. If that fails then a deeper investigation into the beauty box plugin and your system would proabably turn up the problem/bottleneck.

Personally I'd never use PP to upload to YT. You can just upload it yourself if that's the problem.

I suggest you make 10 second videos to get the export and upload to work. Just delete them from your account after they are on YT.

Emily,

Unless you post the details on your hardware and codecs/effects used, plus the export times, none of us can do more than make wild guesses. Because all of those can affect the process.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

Sure so I keep things really simple and just cut clips then add beauty box on top. This video wasn't totally edited but its how it looks in export. Does this give any answers?

Please post the info requested by R Neil Haugen :

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).
