Greetings,
The Undo ( Ctrl+Z ) and Redo functions have stopped working for me after I installed Premiere Pro 22.6.4, since 23.4 is supper slow and not working properly. Now the Undo/Redo Functions are missing and grayed out from both versions. The Copy and Paste fuctions do work and it's not a keyboard shortcuts missing issue. I searched the community and this is what I have tried with no resolusion:
I've cleared the Preferences for both on start up.
I've Reset to a Saved Working Layout and still no resolution.
I only have an US keyboard installed.
I Uninstalled and re-installed both.
I Uninstalled both, then deleted all Premre Pro 23 and 22 user folders in Documents folder and /Users/Shared/Adobe/ and then re-intalled only Premiere Pro 22.6.4 and the same problem persists.
The computer I'm working on is an iMac with the following specifications:
MacOS: Monterey Version 12.6.6
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
Processor: 4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Memory: 32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 (29GB) allocated for Adobe Apps
Startup Disk: Mac SSD
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4 GB
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you kindly,
Teo

The solution I found so far is installing Premier Pro 23.4 and getting rid of all other old versions. Then instead of opening an exisitng old projectm I created a new project and imported the old project into the new one and Premiere is running better and the Undo/Redo fuctions are back online. I hope this helps for whoever is having the same issue.

I spoke too soon. The Undo/Redo function worked after the mentioned above procedure, but it kept Undoing to the importing of the project. Then after restarting Premiere Pro the Undo/Redo uption is not working again.

I have the same issue and it's repeating again and again. I hacve the feeling it is connected to the fram.io plugin. After resetting preferences and deleting layouts the issue will happen again as soon I open the fram.io comments panel.

Opening another previous project the last time I remembered CtrlZ working, then re-opening the new project with CntlZ not working seemed to fix the issue
