Premiere Pro Wont Launch

New Here ,
Mar 12, 2019 Mar 12, 2019

i just got Premiere Pro and i cant get it to launch. it keeps getting stuck on trying to load the maschine2 vst. i tried turning of and on the computer, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere, i tried renaming the VST itself, i tried renaming the VST folder, i even tried removing the whole VST folder altogether and NOTHING works. no matter what i do when i try to launch this program it will start loading and as soon it gets to "loading Maschine2vst" it hangs or stops working alltogether. i dont know what else to do. im on Mac 10.14.1

Have you tried holding Alt/Option and Shift while launching? This resets prefs and plug-in loading cache.

Are you able to remove that 3rd party audio effect? Or maybe reinstall it?

Might be worth checking with that company to see if there is an updated version or known issue?

Hrmmm... a few ideas..

Are you hanging even with a new blank project?

If not, can you launch with a blank project and import the project?

Are you able to open the problematic project file on a second machine?

Looks like there is a plugin that needs to be tracked down.

Most of the Macintosh OS Adobe Premiere Pro plug-ins are in

Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-Ins/

Other plugins could be located:

Macintosh HD/Users/[User]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-Ins

Is there also an application related to the third party effect? Sometimes the 3rd party application contents can contain plugins.

Also - if this doesn't help, have you considered pinging Adobe support? They can walk you through this or log into your machine.

I downloaded a program call easy find. Locate the file, open in finder then change the name of file temporarily. Example..."what.vst" change to "what.v" then try opening the program.
