Premiere project file initially saving outside of selected folder

Hello everyone, I'm not sure if this question has ever been answered. I am also not sure if it is a bug either or I'm just saving it wrong, just let me know. 

Everytime I start a new project, when I select a folder for the project to be saved in, the project then saves in the folder just outside the folder I've selected. So for example, let's say the pathway I wanted to save the project file in is: SOCIAL > 03/24 > Due - 03/12/24 > PROJECT.  The project file then saves in: SOCIAL > 03/24 > Due - 03/12/24. I have noticed that this only happens when I'm saving on my SSD and it doesn't happen when I'm saving on the actual computer. (I've also attached a video for visual proof). This doesn't effect the project's performance in anyway. I just have to close the project, move the location to the proper folder and reopen it. It's just annoying to have to do this everytime I start a new project.

I'm currently running on the most recent version on Adobe Premiere Pro (Version 24.2.1) my computer is up to date. and I'm using a Macbook Pro with an M1 Max.
