Lately Premiere will take several minutes to respond to pretty much anything I do in the program. I am editing off of an external hard drive, which I assume is the problem, but I don't have the option to edit off my computer. But I've been editing off this external drive for several months now, and while it's always been a little slow, it hasn't been this bad until recently. What seems to take the longest is shortening clips and ripple deleting. I've tried clearing media cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the program. Any ideas besides moving it off my external drive?
