PremierePro - Darker and Saturated export
Hi,
I have been editing for the last few weeks and, to my horror, I realised today that the colours of the exported video in Premiere Pro, do not match those of the original footage (PNG image sequences rendered in Blender). I've tried different compressions, and followed the guide in the tutorial (see link below), by selecting the "Enable Display Color Management (requires GPU acceleration)" and applied the LUT effect, but nothing works. The exported footage is always darker and over saturated compared to the original footage (I tried viewing it with different players and even imported it in Premiere Pro - see the attached screen-grab). You would expect ''the export to be exactly the same as the original footage'' to be the default setting, but apparently this is not the case. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Resolved: hi people, after experimenting with different settings, I think I managed to get it right. Having selected the 'Enable Display Color Management', I also selected the H.264 format, the 'Match Source', 'Render at Maximum Depth' and 'VBR, 2 pass' at the Video settings, and finally selected the 'Use Maximum Render Quality'. I think the export is almost identical to the original footage.
