Premire Pro and After Effects crush every time I switch windows

I'm using the 24.6.2 version of After Effects and the 24.6.1 version of Premier Pro on a MacBook Air M2 with 16GB RAM and I keep getting this problem whenever I switch to another window and back to the programs.

I was using both software perfectly fine until now, but it just started doing this thing where when I switch to any other window and come back it just freezes the timeline completely, and then any action that I do after that just crushes the application completely.

Things I tried:
1. Turning off GPU acceleration

2. Clearing my cache and resetting preferences

3. Playing around with the audio hardware

4. Installing older versions

5. Reinstalling the current versions

6. Checking my RAM and GPU performance

Nothing solved the problem so far, any help is appreciated!
