Hi LynnP,

Sorry to hear of your trouble. Have you updated Premiere Pro to the latest version (12.1.1)? It contains a pertinent fix.

How many PNGs are you layering and what is the size and resolution (pixels) of each PNG? You might be taxing your system. Try to render the sequence before exporting. Also, export via the Media Encoder queue rather than directly from Premiere Pro. (Click Queue instead of Export in the Export Setting dialog box.)

I tried exporting through encoder and had the same issues. It’s even glitching on the timeline. These .png’s are tiny 66 kb 468 x 216. See screenshots. I’m using a Mac 3.7 GHZ core inton Xeon E5. Can we do a live chat or have you call me?

This is not a taxing system this is a PNG issue from the update.  I have the exact same issue with QuickTime renders out of AE with png codec for built in alpha.  Never have had this issue before this update.

I did. They told me to revert to the older version until they fix it

There have been three different workarounds reported in other threads. I've copied them into one post, so go here for temporary workaround choices ...

I am having the same "out of sync" or timing type issue placing a Quicktime render png (built in alpha) and place over existing video.  Never had this issue before the update and this project was built in the proper version.  Something seriously wrong with the PNG recognition codec.
