Problems with vertical projects

I've a strange problem with project for Shorts/Reel/TikToks. I created a project 1080x1920, but when i import a video, the timeline seems bugged and i can't make nothing on it. When i delete the video from the library everything seems ok. In the past i had the same problem, but with titles (vertical videos).

What can i do? This is frustrating!

I've a powerful Ryzen and a Nvidia 3070, no problems with standard 16:9 projects.

Is it a problem with a particular clip? Can you edit a 16x9 clip onto your 9x16 sequence?

The same problem occur with some audio e all photos and videos. But if the project is a classic 16x9 all the clips work fine. It's very strange.
