Since updating to Premiere 2020, the video on the progame viewer is appalling. I viewed the video on Canon XF Utility and on my second external monitor and its fine. Any ideas why this is happening? There is no issue on the 2019 version.

Hi,
I have the same issue, the project works fine in 2019 version, Studio Nvidia Codecs were installed and it seems to loose deph color and blacks are down, resolution is full.
That happened wit avid a long time ago and I had to make an adjustment in the video card configuration, but here is not a problem of gamma, color deph seems to be pasteurized...

Hi Neil, it's set to full, I have loaded the previous Premiere cc version alongside the 2020 version to compare, and the 2020 version monitor is not showing the correct image, even a jumper that I am wearing which is mauve, shows as brown. When I create a jpeg image from the monitor, it shows the correct colour and depth when viewed.

That is odd. It would be great to get a screen-grab of this to puzzle over.

Ppla,
You say "Exported" and "Monitor".
Please explain each image, what it was and how displayed.

Esported is a Frame rendered by premiere and displayed in VLC or at player, resolve or avid works good, processes are well done by premiere.
Monitor, is how premiere shows the image in its owns monitors, preview and program. So the problem is in the way premiere shows the image.
Thanks you’all
