Proxies Created in AME - will not attach due to audio channels mismatch workaroud?

Hello everyone.

Did anyone found a workaround on how to create proxies with AME (without Premiere involvment) and make matching audio proxies?

For the time being Premiere will not attach proxies that have different audio channel layout than original media. There seems to be no way in AME to create endcoding preset with the option to select audio as - Match source - like for example every setting in the video Tab can be. Im creating proxies on a separate machine and would like to just drag all folders to AME applly presset and click go, foregoing the - import to premiere and create proxies from there - step

Apparently AME is capable of audio matching on transcoding when proxies are created from within Premiere using  deafult cineform proxy ingest presets. This preset will match audio setting when creating proxies. (proxies from masters with one audio track will have one audio track - and from master for example with no audio, will not have audio). So the software can do it,

I tried to "reverse engeneer" Default cineform ingest presets that come with premiere to create my own DNx proxy encoding presets for but to no avail.  Does this mean that Programers at Adobe can create more complex presets than users cant do? Or am I missing something. ?

I’ve got multiple DNX encoding/ingesting presets depending on frame size and number of channels. Most used is 1920x1080 HD 8 channel which works for most (created from PP though). Some sources that are 0 or 1 audio channel I had to switch to ProRes as I couldn’t get DNX to work.

We are missing a ‘pass through ‘ option for audio in AME & thus the presets. I’m currently trying out EditReady, which has this, to create even lighter proxies for portable use.

Yes that's the way I create proxies also - lots of presets.

What is bugging me though is that  ingest proxy cineform presets included with Premiere are able to preform audio pass through. So AME is capable of doing that. But the option for this during preset creation is just not there.
