Proxy automatic relink doesn't work

New Here ,

Hi,

Since months I have the problem, that Proxies doesn't relink automatically when I attach them.

What I do:

1. Select all files in Project window -> right click all -> Attach Proxies...

2. I activate "Relink others automatically" and also try to use different "Match File Properties".

3. When I attach a proxy-file to a video, only this one but no other proxy-files will be relinked.

When relinked normal "offline media", everything works. But since PR22 I have the mentioned problem with proxies. Older versions work fine. I dont wont to downgrade all my projects to PR21 and I use windows, so it's harder to rename all proxy files. The current file names are for example:

- Original file: C123.MP4

- Proxy file: C123S03.MP4

Thank you for helping to find a solution in advance!

Matt

Proxy file is written incorrect, should show as: C123_Proxy.mp4

You can batch rename in The Bridge.

Hi Ann, Thank you very much for your fast reply. I batch renamed all Proxy Files with Bridge to "XXX_Proxy.mp4", but the relink unfortunately still does not work. Even different "Match File Properties" like "File Name", "Media Start" and so on don't make a difference.

Alright, restarting Premiere Pro after batch renaming all the proxy files did the job, thank you very much!
