Proxy question

I having trouble on debugging overall issues we have.
And i wanted to double check something.
We are on PC(AMD trhreadripper;128Gigram) connected by 10GIG to network storage. And we have AJA Kona4 card for playout on our HD TVlogic monitor. Adobe premiere 23
Original Material is UHD (3840 x2160) . Because we like a "smooth" edits we decide to work with proxies. So AME renders out proxies while we start editing with the original Media.(they will be prores Proxy files in an HD frame size)
The sequence is put into UHD Prores. The AJA sadley has to realt time downconvert to HD because the TVlogic is an HD monitor. (stress point here already)
When AME is done creating the proxie's, i attach them to the original media. (attach proxies)
Now here is the part where i not see it any more :
When i use "toggle proxy" i see (when i check in source and the network traffik by taskmanager) that he plays the proxy files. Great. Love it.
Now my question : If he plays the proxy file which is HD proress proxy in my UHD (because we started editing already) timeline... and then AJA puts to HD on my monitor, do i not overstress the pc?
Because as i see/overthink it : he plays back the Proress proxy HD file on 4K timeline(he wants to upscale it to become 4K?) Then downscale By the AJA card because we put to 1080i50 for the monitor ?
Or do i need to manuall reset the sequence setting ?
If i work other ay arround :
I import the proxy files (Proress Proxy HD) and i make sequence : that setting wil be in frame size of HD? And what if i reconnect full resolution Media (my original UHD)? How doest it get back to UHD in sequence ? Is this a manual step i need to do ? Because we can see this in serveral ways : like journalists/directors go home with the proxies to precut, then come back to editing booth where we reconnect full resolution media. But the directors putted the sequence of course in settings for the proxy file. (most of them have almost no clue on codecs and frame sizes)
Can somebody enlighten me on this and i do appologize if this is a stupid question. But the network traffic and CPU load and GPU load tell me strage things. Or maybe i am too much used on other editors that i confused on the exact workflow of proxies in Adobe Premiere
I think bottem line is HOW does Adobe look at a difference in frame size between Hires and Proxy?
Kind regards
Bart
Have something to add?
