Question

"Project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements" + Autosaves corrupted

Been working all day on a multi-day project. Then all of a sudden Adobe crashes and my project file + all the autosaves from today get corrupted and when I try to open them I get this:

"Project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements"

I tried downgrading, opening in new version, importing into new project file.

I need urgent help with fixing this and opening my project file, I don't want to lose a day's work just because Adobe can't ship a stable software. Furthermore, these delays and errors cost money, I'm paid on a day rate and I can't have these types of things going on.

Please help

Hi @Alexz1 ,

I am very sorry to hear this and understand how frustrating loosing a days work is. I attempted to open the project file you added and it will also not open for us in the BETA version or the current version of Premiere Pro. I know it is hard to spend time filing a bug report when you have work to do , but when you have time we would like to help prevent such issues from happening so if you would like to you can file a full bug report here with more info, How do I write a bug report. Were you using any 3rd party plug ins and what version of Premiere were you on?

Thank you

Ian

I am guessing you did not make a backup?

Alas I Don't have a solution for you.
