"Source Text" keyframes not showing up in timeline

I am creating multiple keyframes to change text in one graphic, which I have done before. Recently upgraded to PP 2023 and these keyframes are not showing up in the timeline, although they do show up in the Effect Controls timeline view. (screenshot below) I added keyframes for other controls like "Uniform Scale" and "Position" and those show up just fine. I created another graphic on a different track - same problem. Anybody else have this problem???
