Read/Write access denied. Files not populating, can't export.

I upgraded to version 22.3 yesterday. Everything was working fine.

I think my Mac updated to 12.3.1 last night and now I'm dead in the water.

Projects won't populate b/c of read/write errors in both PR and AE

All of my permissions on my external HDD are Read/Write.

When I "replace footage" with the same files in their exact location everything is back online and I can edit, but then I can't export. I get an "Export Error".

I've combed through the forums and tried all of the remedies, but nothing is working. Is it Adobe or the Mac OS?

Have you double-checked your Security & Privacy setting in System Preferences to make sure nothing is amiss there in the Files and Folders section?

I ensured everything was selected in "Files and Folders", but after your suggestion I went back to Security and Privacy and into "Full Disk Access" PR and AE were unselected. I checked the box, everything works now, and I feel like a horse's patoot..hehe.

Thanks!

AH! So glad you got it. We've all been there. I appreciate what Apple is doing with their security but it's caused me a few headaches after updates, just like you were having.
