Is Adobe planning to add a Reload footage command/button in the near future? This is a missing feature that annoys me a lot, since I have to 'replace' manually every bloody image sequence I export from After Effects if its length changed.

They rarely tell us about future stuff until it's released. So ... when you see something in the public beta, you know it's probably coming to the shipping version at some point.
You can always search the new Idea section of this forum to see if something like this is coming. If you don't find one, create one, and either way, post back here for others to upvote it.
You could also go to their public beta forum & post about this, as the devs do view that forum regularly.
