rendering errors in premiere pro ever since updating to ver 15

Hi guys,

I'm relatively new to these forums. So if I miss any guidelines placing my question here feel free to point those out to me.

I have a render error issue, and I am wondering if someone here can help me with that.

Context on Issue:

Ever since I updated the adobe creative cloud and premiere pro (to version 15) I have started to get rendering errors. See the image below.

My specs are the following:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor   3.59

RAM: 16 GB

Windows version: win10 ver 20h2

Graphic Card: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1600 Super  - Version 3.22.0.32

I have tried the following tips but none of it helped:

  • Restarting pc
  • Update Windows
  • Update Graphic card
  • Update Premiere Pro
  • Matching the frame rate in sequence setting to the original video
  • Queueing it om Media Encoder

Due to the nature of large file (4-6GB) I prefer using GPU Hardware instead of Software.

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance

Amir

Are you using the latest Studio Driver (not the Game Driver)?

What version number of graphics driver?

Hi Peru Bob,

Thanks for your reply. I ws using the latest game driver indeed. Just downloaded the Studio driver. Curious to see if that works.

I do have to say that ever since the update. Rendering takes basically all the Ram memory, where as this was not the case with 14.9. Is this normal?

Will keep you posted on how the new render goes.

@Peru Bob  unfortunately the render crashed again despite installing the studio driver.

As for your question regarding the version number on the graphic card. Its the following:

Version 3.22.0.32

Adding image for more reference.

Any other suggestions?

Perhaps the symptoms of the crash can help identify the issue:

  • After the error occurs the pc just becomes super slow
  • Google chrome add-ons (such as Grammarly etc) stop working
