Rendering fails

I have a 2 minute sequence on my timeline that will not Render.
There are 3 color indicators in my timeline that don't go after Rendering.
Neither Enter, or Render In to Out works.
I tried clearing Attributes, but that had no effect.
I've even reviewed UT videos but can't find the answer. I even rebooted my computer.
I'm baffled.

MIke, I'd need more information to even start to guess.

What's the media and effects used, what are you rendering to ... and do you mean render or export? ... and what specifically are the 'colors' you are referring to, and any message you get?

Thanks for your responce.

Not sure why your first question would be relevant. I'm also not sure what you mean by "rendering to." The clip that started all this was Rendered; in this case it remains in the tl. The only time it does go somewhere is in "Render and Replace."

So, in the area where Markers and I/O settings are placed, there may be up to 3 color indicators: Green, Yellow and Red, that tell me when I should be thinking about Rendering; part or all of, the seq.

I was focused on the Warped clip, which was red, even thought I'd Rendered and Replaced it.

But that clip is a red herring, because I've rendered the entire seq and the warning colors remained!

I am currently in a sequence where the entire clip is in Yellow. In this case I should expect it to tern Green after I Render the clip, by pressing Enter; but remained remained Yellow!

The clip appears to have been rendered but the colors don't change.

I've been both using Premiere for over a decade and participating here and other places of troubleshooting. I've helped, as others here, on this type of question I don't know how many times, to successfully get users working again.

I didn't ask stupid or idle questions, there are solid reasons to my entire post.

The  original clip media on the timeline is always a factor, and also any effects that may have been applied to them. This is a processing issue period. We need to know what is being processed.

And of course, what you are rendering to is specifically to find what format/codec you have set for rendering your sequence. As that is also part of the data needed to sort this entire processing chain question .
