Replace with after effects composition -not working

Hi There !!

I have trouble when i try replace the composition in after effects from Premiere pro...

I attach the screenchot of my versions and the issue in PP.

Please make sure that your After Effects and Premiere Pro are up to date.

Hi Rob !!

My two versions of PP AND AE are up to date.

Premiere Pro: 15.2

After Effects: 18.2.1

You've really supplied the least information possible. When you post add in the OS version and a little about what you are trying to do, rather than strictly the result. With that said, I'll try a guess:

PP Version 15 and AE Version 18 go together and make up 2021 versions. The message somehow says 2020?

You can try renaming the DynamicLinkMediaServer folder, contained in this folder:

Paste the below line into File Explorer:

%UserName%\Documents\Adobe\

Just rename it with maybe an x as the first letter. Do it with both PP and AE closed, then fire it up and try it again...

Hi MyerPj !!

I want to edit a video in after effect from Premiere Pro timeline.

I right click and then where it says Replace with composition in AE. There it just gives me an error. Attach a screenshot of that.

My two versions of PP AND AE are up to date.

Premiere Pro: 15.2

After Effects: 18.2.1
