Revert to Previous Version of Premiere Pro CC

Community Beginner ,
Nov 06, 2013 Nov 06, 2013

After latest update, I've had nothing but problems using Premiere Pro CC.  As I've posted in other forums, about my audio not playing in merged clips.  How can I revert back to the last version before the update?

Would you mind sending me instructions as well? I updated to 7.1 and it caused Premiere and Magic Bullet Looks stop playing nicely together (black frame previews). I need to get a project colored by tomorrow morning and I've troubleshot things on the Red Giant side of things as far as I can with little success. I feel that rolling back Premiere to 7.0.1 may be my only option to get things working again until things get sorted out between Adobe and Red Giant. Thanks in advance!

So how can you roll back from 7.1 to the previous version of CC? Also, I'm assuming I can't roll back just AME right? Can you please let me know how.

There are two exporting issues that I've run into since the update that make it very frustrating:

Okay Vinay, hmm reverted to last version, doesn't seem to be a update issue after all.  Any other suggestions to get these clips to act properly?

Hi rhead12,

I will suggest you to copy the timeline instead of copying the bin.

That doesn't help, the issue is with the merged source clips not clips in a timeline.  I've posted in detail the problem I'm having in another post on this forum.

Hi Vinay,

Please can you send the instructions on how to roll back CC to 7.0.1?

7.1 just doesn't work how I need it to and I am losing time to get these projects complete.

Regards

Aaron

Does this also roll-back AME?

I lost my h264 Bluray ability after updating AME.

(did not update Pr because of issues uncovered on the forums.)

Related to this issue?

And I'd ask your question there (the AME forum).

Hey Vinay,

I rolled back to 7.0.1 because of Bullet Looks issues, and was pleased to see my render files all loaded (yay). But now my issue is that when I send a render job to AME from Premiere it crashes both AME and then Premiere. Any ideas on this?

I need to rollback too. PP 7.1 is a bit of a mess. WHite frames on export. Slow performance. How do I get back?

Note that you can now do this for any Adobe CC app if you want (not just Premiere Pro), if/when needed...  Just follow our Creative Cloud Version Control Guide for how to restore, roll back, roll forward, update, etc.
