Hello,
My apps are all up to date and the latest.
My computer specs are good and is not the problem. Its the dynamic link between my pp and ae, the rotobrush i an doing in ae is not turning up on my pp.
What am i doing wrong and why is this happening, any one know?
As well one of my dynamic links is a lighter pink than the others on the timeline, and it had the same problem. The changers i make in ae is not carrying over to pp.
What can i did?

Sometimes saving the Ae comp can trigger updates. The DL process doth have its issues at times.
I tend to complete an Ae comp, then export as full media to replace the comp on the sequence with a clip. Plays better in Pr, and ... I don't have to worry about whether the phase of the moon or being a Blue Tuesday will affect the DL comp within Premiere.

Thanks Neil,
I think i am going to have to do it that way. In truth i have had nothing but trouble with DL. Its a shame because it is an excellent concept, but when your dealing with deadlines on projects, it's a luxury i can't afford.
Sorry to trouble you, but would you have a link that could walk me through that.
I really don't want anymore issues through zigging instead of zagging.
If you could that would be great.

Hi Jackfilm,
We're sorry to hear about this. Please let us know the exact version of Premiere Pro and After Effects that you are using. Also, are you experiencing this issue with all the projects/comps or with specific ones? Let us know, we're here to help.
Thanks,
Sumeet

In PP its 14.0.3
In AE its 17.0.4
And i am only working with the one project. As well the problems only started happening since the updates we have had in the last few weeks.
Originally i thought it was the driver and graphics card. But it still persisted after expensively upgrading the card then drivers.
But the problem still persisted even after did some other DL just to check if it was the footage.
The clips are MXF files. As i said I never had the problem before. Only since these updates.

Exporting a comp from Ae is kinda ... unique. But that is to be expected, eh? 😉
You can export from Ae or send to MediaEncoder. It's often easier for Premiere experienced editors to do the Me render. You can understand the export settings dialog easier.
I would suggest a high-quality intraframe like Cineform, DNxHD/R or ProRes ... DNxHD/R options are found in their format list. Both Cineform and ProRes (yes, ProRes exports are available from PCs) are in the QuickTime format list.
Import that media into Premiere, and then use it to replace the comp "clip" on the sequence.
