sequence name is truncated for no reason on export

if i go to export a video it uses the name of the sequence as the file name (which is what i usually want)

but when iwant to  manually browse and select the directory that im exporting to, when i click on that, it then truncates the filename for no reason, 

so i have to go back out of my export menu, and copy the name of the sequence so that i can then re enter it as the complete file name before exporting... seems like a bug to me !
