Sequence of exported AAF is offline when imported

Good day,

currently using Premiere Pro 2021 and want to export an AAF for the mixing guys.

To test everything I exported the AAF with "Embed Audio". The AAF is big enough (100mb) so that should be ok, but when I import that file again into Premiere - it imports all different clip files and the sequence but everything is offline? Is this normal? Everything should be online I guess...? ;o)

What am I doing wrong..?

Thanks!

yes it seems premiere can't import AAF when set to embed audio without it being offline. use separate audio when you create an AAF and it will import to premiere back correctly. embed audio works way btw in resolve (and protools of course)
