Set to Frame Size and Remove Attributes Not Working

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make 2 of my video clips the same size, but the "set to frame size" isn't working. I saw another post about this saying to get rid of the clip attributes, and I tried that, but it didn't work either. Can anyone help? I am new to Premiere Pro, so it could also be my own user error.

Thanks!

As suggested by Ann Bens, please check whether the source clip itself contains black bars. If it does, you may need to scale it manually. To verify this, you can load the clip into the Source Monitor and check if the black bars are visible.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Hi Sara37183419fry3,

Welcome to the community! In addition to the suggestions shared by our Experts, you may use the Fill Frame option (right-click on clip in timeline > Fill Frame). If you haven't already, please try installing the latest version of Premiere Pro and let us know if these steps help.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Thank you for the suggestion. I tired what you suggested and also clicking "fill frame" in the properties menu as others have suggested but still nothing is happening. Premiere Pro is also up to date.

Thank you for the help!

You could try Fill from the Properties Panel.

Try resizing it using the Motion Property in the Effects Control Panel.
