Is there a way to do a find, either within a bin or, preferably, across a project, for a certain word or phrase and have them all come up in one window? I've just logged a lot of footage and now I would like to create some bins that contain, for example, all clips that have the word 'bedroom' associated with them. I know I can do a CMD+F to find clips with that word, but it only highlights them and only does that one at a time.
Is this not a feature?

Search bins are the closest you’ll get to ‘custom sift’. They are cool, but Avid has s way ahead in this regard.

Thanks Trevor. I'm looking at that now (who would think to search under File/New?), but can't figure out what I need to highlight to use that. It is grayed out with everything I've selected so far highlighted.

Hmm, just found this link. Looks really useful, but will have to look at it after working hours.

Unfortunately, Keywords aren't one of the parameters you can Search by. Your logging would have to have been done in the Comment, Description or Log Note fields to search for it.

Well, I did in fact use the Description field for my logging. And CMD+F does find the words, but, again, only one at a time. I'm now Playing with Search Bins, but I seem to get duplicate references to some files. I am guessing, though haven't had an opportunity to check yet, that these duplicates are clips that appear in existing sequences.
I feel I'm missing something. This seems such a simple and yet fundamental concept for any NLE. I'm sure Premiere would do this.

What do you mean by duplicate references?
I find some odd results.
For example, if I have a description of "Desc 1" and "Desc 2" if often finds both no matter what I put after "Desc" in the search find. But a description of "Desc nothing" is "found" correctly.
This may also help:
Find assets in the Premiere Pro Project panel
For example, it may not be intuitive that changing the search bin name (which is originally the search criteria) does not change the search criteria. You must right click and "Edit Search Bin" for that.
I also did not realize you can use this to search the clip filename.
