sort by date in any view

erm... wtf? IS this not possible? I have searched metadata options and basic, dublin core, exif ... any mention of date I try gives blank. I searched for solutions and found quite a few posts, from the last 5 or so years with people splutteringly incredulous that this is an issue. Is it? Am I to splutter?

Actually, Date > Creation Date does work. I don't think the Dublin Core one works as expected from what I recall.

Thanks,

What are u trying to look for exactly? If the date metadata was not part of the file you won't find it. What I am saying is this: When you start a project and you populate the Data metadata area and then reopen that project say a year later you will see the date. There isn't a default date stamp embedded into each project as far as I am aware.
