I just installed Premiere Pro. When I upload my video file and drag it to the source, the screen stays gray (not even black screen), but the sound works and i can press play. (NVIDEA RTX4060). What am i doing wrong?

Hi @robbe_5806 - If you navigate the menu bar and select Window > workspaces > and change the workspace do you get an image?

Can you try downloading the latest NVIDIA driver? As of now, the most recent version is 572.16.

  • Workflow details
  • Steps to reproduce - Open Premiere Pro - new project - upload video file - drag to source or timeline - press play.
  • Expected result - video should start playing with sound and visual
  • Actual result -  video starts playing with sound, no visual (screen stays gray)

I never worked in premiere pro before, didn't touch any settings.
