Speakers not working

I just updated my windows 10 with the latest windows update. Now, there is an audio error in the audio hardware preferences section stating that none of my inputs or outputs are working. As a result I hear no audio when a play back an audio clip. Outside of Premiere Pro I hear the sound all right. Before the latest windows update, I had no problem at all hearing the audio through my headphones. I am using Adobe Premiere Pro 14.03

Try setting the Defaults to None ... sometimes, that works.
